At "The Hidden Treasure Book & Game Collection", we believe that education can be both enriching and enjoyable. Our educational books & games are designed to make learning fun for the whole family.

Hi, my name is Latonya Coleman, founder and owner of "The Hidden Treasure Collection", I am a compassionate head start educator who believes in the learning through play approach (a stress-free zone).

Play is an important part of a child's learning and growing process physically and emotionally; play allows children to be themselves without the stress and pressure of being right or wrong. Play encourages children to use their imagination, such as dressing up- trying on different hats of lifelong possibilities.

Children retain more information when they feel comfortable and confident; not feeling judged, criticized or pressured. Children also remember and retain more information when they are experiencing happy moments, achieving accomplishments, or simply anything that sparks their interest and curiosity.
